The client had a pair of stumps they wanted to incorporate into the furniture suite I was building for them. I used 1/2" glass for the top so that you could look through it to see the forging and joinery. The glass was so thick I dropped a hammer on it and it didn't break. Burly. Both the clients and myself were pleased with how they fit in the room.
